Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 crowned its queens.
Candidates from Laguna and Doha, Qatar won the top prizes at the conclusion of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 held August 2 2015 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World, Manila.
Leren Mae Bautista was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific International 2015. The Laguna beauty will represent the country in the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International in Kuala Lumpur in December.
Janela Joy Cuaton from the Filipino community in Doha, Qatar was named Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism International 2015. She will head on to compete in Miss Tourism International pageant to be held in Vietnam later this year.
The two ladies also took home most of the special awards. Bautista won the coveted Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown titles, while Cuaton was awarded Best in Festival Costume, Miss Friendship, and Miss Photogenic.
Nina Josie Robertson from Australia was hailed Mutya ng Pilipinas-Overseas Communities, while Cagayan de Oro’s Julee Ann Marie Bourgoin and Nueva Ecija’s Brenna Cassandra Gamboa finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
Completing the Top 10 finalists were Aislinn Anne Sebastian (Southern California), Kerlyn Horn (Northern California), Shannon Rebecca Bridgman (Melbourne), Jessie May Delprete (Arizona) and Jessica Rose McEwen (Central Luzon).
