Maria Ellul and Daryl Azzopardi were the winners of the Miss and Mr World Malta 2018 competitions held May 19 at the Pjazza Teatru Rjal in Valletta.
Ellul, 24, from Zurrieq bested 26 other candidates for the right to represent the country at the 2018 Miss World finals in China in December.
Azzopardi, 24, from Swatar will travel to the Philippines in January for the biennial Mr World pageant. A total of 21 contestants vied for the title. Missosology.Org
