From hundreds of applicants, only 35 were called back for the final screening held August 2. And from them, only 22 made it as official candidates of Misters of Filipinas 2016.
The 22 candidates will be joined by eight others from regional screenings and Filipino communities abroad. They will be officially presented to the members of the press on August 28.
The Misters of Filipinas grand callback, organized by Prime Event Productions Foundation Inc (PEPPS) was held at House Manila in Remington Hotel, Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.
The finals night is set for September 18 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila. The winners will represent the country in Mister International, Manhunt International, Mister Supranational and Man of the World pageants. Representatives to Man of the Year, Mister Southeast Asia and Mister Globe competition will also be selected.

AR DELA SERNA | BOHOL #ComebackKingngBohol Age: 23 Height: 6’1″ AR is a returning Misters as he was proclaimed 1st Runner-Up in 2015. This time, he is taking another shot for any of the titles at stake. AR is into swimming, diving, and reading books.
BOBBY ROYO | SIBUYAN ISLAND #MisterChocongSibuyanIsland Age: 27 Height: 5’11” Bob already has an experience competing internationally and winning. While he has this achievement, he still remains humble and optimistic that he will bag one of the titles in the pageant. He is an outdoorsy person who loves sports and traveling. He is also into mountain climbing.
CASIUS CHARLES PANOPIO | BATANGAS #WindSurferngBatangas Age: 20 Height: 6’0″ This stunner is taking Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management from Trinity University of Asia. While he has already had experience modeling, a unique thing about Charles is that he was part of the Philippine Windsurfing team. He also loves to play basketball and would want to play professionally as well.
CHARLES JOSEPH QUEROL | PANDI, BULACAN #GasolineBoyngBulacan Age: 29 Height: 6’0″ If his face looks familiar, it is because his claim to fame is that of a photo of him that went viral on the internet labeling him as the hot gasoline attendant. But there is more to him than his looks. He loves to play basketball and has recently entered modeling–even walking the runway for one of the most famous designers in the country today.
CHRISTOPHER DULAGAN | SAGADA #IgorotPoliceInspectorngSagada Age: 22 Height: 5’10” Chris is a proud Igorot who also happens to be a Police Inspector. A product of the Philippine National Police Academy, he is a fitness advocate who loves to work out in the gym and to jog. This athletic guy also loves volleyball and basketball. He joined Misters of Filipinas because he wants to represent his tribe and that of the police force since he was inspired with the accomplishments of Neil Perez and Don Cochico.
DANBAR ARDALES | LEGAZPI #BraveManngLegazpi Age: 20 Height: 5’11” Danbar joined Misters of Filipinas because he wants to meet new people and showcase his talents. In his spare time, he likes playing the guitar, dancing, and singing. He also loves to play basketball and table tennis.
DANIEL ESPINOSA | MAKATI #AspiringActorNgMakati Age: 20 Height: 5’10” Daniel loves to play basketball and volleyball. He also swims and surfs. A Tourism student, he hopes to fulfill his dreams of becoming a model and actor.
DARRYL JOSHUA GOMEZ | BONTOC #AthleticIgorotNgBontoc Age: 19 Height: 5’11” DJ is a person who loves to experience things in life that may lead him to success. He is a driven individual who loves to dance, as well as play basketball and volleyball. He also loves to travel and is keen on having adventure.
EZRA USITA | NUEVA ECIJA #FootballPrinceNgNuevaEcija Age: 24 Height: 5’10” Ezra dreams on making the country proud, which is why he would like to win one of the titles in Misters of Filipinas. He believes that this is a platform for him to reach his goal. He is a drummer who loves to play football and basketball.
GERALD JAHN FULLANTE | CAMARINES SUR #MrIndependentNgCamSur Age: 22 Height: 5’10” Rald learned to be independent early and has strived hard to support himself. His main reason for joining Misters of Filipinas is that he wants to be a role model to the youth. He loves to play badminton, baseball, and basketball.
ICHIN DACLAN | GENERAL SANTOS CITY #FitnessTrainerNgGenSan Age: 29 Height: 5’11” Ichin is a fitness buff who is giving Misters of Filipinas another shot after placing as a semifinalist in 2014. This time around, he claims that he is more prepared and will fight for one of the titles. This athletic guy is a gym enthusiast who also does marathons and triathlons. He also sings, dances, and plays volleyball and basketball.
ISSA JANDA | ALBAY #SupermanNgAlbay Age: 21 Height: 6’1″ Issa wants to pursue his advocacy that focuses on the out-of-school youth in the country today. He also wants to represent the country in an international pageant. A unique thing about him is that he loves to eat exotic food–snakes, fruit bats, crocodiles, and the like.
JERALD MENDOZA | LAGUNA #CowboyHeartthrobNgLaguna Age: 22 Height: 5’11” Jerald graduated with a degree in Business Management from STI College this year. He has also walked the runway of different fashion shows. This swimmer hunk joined Misters of Filipinas 2016 in hopes of being an inspiration in a bigger field.

RICHARD BASTANI | RIZAL #PersianModelNgRizal Age: 25 Height: 5’10” Richard is half Filipino and half Persian who is into modeling here in the Philippines. Despite the 2 different cultures, he considers having the heart of a Filipino.
