Pageant veterans, an Igorot police officer, a windsurfer and a social media sensation are among the 27 Misters of Filipinas 2016 contestants presented to the media on Sunday, August 28.

The show, which coincided with the launching of One Canvas Events Place in Makati City, saw the candidates walk the runway in fashion wear, beach wear and their official Misters shirts.

These men from around the country and Filipino overseas communities hope to follow the footsteps of Mister International 2014 Neil Perez and Man of the Year 2016 Karan Singhdole. They will compete for the chance to represent the Philippines in various international pageants, including Mister International, Manhunt International and Mister Supranational.

Prime Event Productions Philippines president Carlo Morris Galang expressed happiness for having these gorgeous and talented individuals as part of this year’s Misters candidates’ roster. “For us, they are not just competitors in our pageant, but an addition to our growing family,” he added.

The finals is set for September 18 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila. Text & photos by Drew Francisco, Missosology.Org
