Ileana Márquez Pedroza has been crowned as the new Miss Venezuela during a pageant held Thursday night, December 7th. She is a single mother with one daughter and she will be forever etched in history books as the first-ever mother to be crowned as Miss Venezuela. She was bestowed with the title during a glittering finals night held at Centro Comercial Líder in the capital city of Caracas.
The 70th edition of Miss Venezuela was participated by 25 candidates from all over Venezuela. Ileana represented the state of Amazonas and will soon compete at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant which will be held in Mexico. She is 28 years old and stands 5’10” tall.
Finishing as first runner-up is Giorgiana Rosas of Anzoátegui while Daniela Celis of Méride finished as second runner-up. Cindy Granadillo of Yaracuy is the third runner-up.
Venezuela boasts 7 Miss Universe titleholders and is currently ranked second at the Big5 pageant.
