The 2016 Miss Universe Guam pageant concluded on Thursday, September 8, with Muñeka Joy Taisipic bagging the top plum.
Taisipic will represent the island at the 2016 Miss Universe pageant to be held in the Philippines.
This 18-year-old nursing student at the University of Guam said she joined the pageant “to inspire females of all ages to achieve their goals and that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.”
Miss International Guam
Meanwhile, Annalyn Buan was crowned Miss International Guam 2016. She will be flying out to Tokyo, Japan to compete at the 2016 Miss International pageant in October.
