Few people could perhaps claim to celebrate better than the Filipinos. After a rapturous welcome accorded to Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach the moment she stepped on her home soil, she was accorded with numerous accolades and honor. The city mayor of Manila gave her the symbolic key to the city, and both the Philippine Senate and the Philippine Congress commended her with honors.
Now, Pia was given a big welcome with a street parade through the sprawling metropolis of Manila. Aboard a customized float taking inspiration from her blue Miss Universe crown, Pia paraded through the streets complete with enthusiastic crowd, confetti and a loud musical band.
