According to the Portuguese edition of Radio France Internationale (RFI), the tiny African nation of Sao Tome and Principe is set to host the Miss Universe 2015 pageant this late November to early December. The country is known for its pristine and less crowded beaches with a culture strongly influenced by the Portuguese.

However, the Miss Universe Organization is yet to officially announce the host country let alone if there is another contest to be held within the year since the 2014 edition was held in January 2015. Rumors had it that China and Colombia all vied for the right to host the prestigious event. Recently, Colombia back-out from its bid after the Donald Trump controversy.
