Known for its Russian name of Главный универсальный магазин or Glavnyi Universalnyi Magazin (Main Universal Store), GUM is where the Miss Universe 2013 contestants recently shopped. With a facade facing the Red Square, it is one of the historic buildings in Russia dating back to the age of the tsars.
