Ecem Çırpan, an 18 year old beauty, won the prestigious Miss Turkey 2015 title. She hails from the Anatolian city of Bursa and will represent Turkey at the Miss World 2015 pageant which is to be held in Sanya on December 19. A volleyball player, Ecem stands at 6 feet in height.
Turkey boasts a Miss World crown won by Azran Akın in 2002. In overall, Turkey made it to the semis of Miss World for 7 times since it first participation in 1954. Unfortunately, since Azra was crowned as Miss World, no Turkish beauty has ever made it to the semis of the pageant.
