Daniela Vojtasova was crowned as Miss Slovensko 2023 in a pageant held over the weekend in the capital city of Bratislava. With her title, she earned the right to represent Slovakia in the Miss World 2024. She is 23 years of age and she is a professional dancer.
A total of 12 contestants vied for the prestigious title. Petra Sivakova is the first runner-up while Sonja Kopcanova is the second runner-up. The Miss Slovensko pageant has emphasized personality over looks in this years edition. Organizer Michael Kovacik believes that the overall personality of the candidates trumps over attractive appearance.
Slovakia is yet to win the Miss World crown. The country is currently ranked 70th in the Big5 Ranking.
