This year the official Miss Russia photo shoot with Fadil Berisha was held in the New York studio of the eminent fashion photographer.
Miss Russia 2014 Julia Alipova tried on an entire variety of different roles during the photo session. In one of the most striking images, Julia looks like a cinema diva arriving at a glamorous Hollywood premiere.
Julia also modeled several complex long evening dresses, as well as brightly colored cocktail dresses. Thanks to designer Sherri Hill, who personally chose the looks for each of Julia’s “roles,” Miss Russia 2014 looked stunning.
Fadil Berisha has a unique sense of how to use his camera to highlight the most outstanding features of every model. Fadil first met Julia during the official Miss Russia contestants photo shoot earlier this year. Even back then, he noted Julia’s unique natural beauty.
“Julia has a very unusual beauty,” Berisha says. “She sometimes reminds me of the famous Italian actress Ornella Muti. Together with the team, we tried to show Julia’s beauty in completely different images – not just as a diva, confidently walking down the red carpet, but also as an ordinary girl next door. It seems we have succeeded. It was a great pleasure to work with Julia.”
