The 48 beautiful and inspiring environmental ambassadors from different municipalities and cities in and outside the country were officially presented to the members of the press on Monday, May 16 at the poolside of Diamond Hotel Manila as the candidates of Miss Philippines Earth 2016.
Miss Anda, Pangasinan Liza Cacho won the Gold medal as the Darling of the Press. Winning the silver and bronze were Miss Puerto Princesa City
Imelda Schweighart and Miss London Kiaragiel Gregorio.
Ten ladies were also chosen as Hana Beauties of Nature. They were: Imelda Schweighart (Puerto Princesa), Kiara Giel Hamlig Gregorio (London), Melanie Mader (Vienna), Korina Christiene Reyes (City of San Fernando), Shannon Bridgman (Rosales, Pangasinan), Loren Mar Guillermo Artajos (Laoag City), Ellyz Santos (Laoang, Northern Samar), Anna Mae Cagurangan (Piat, Cagayan), Tim Alsowyed (Dumaguete) and Jessica Zevenbergen (Murcia, Negros Occidental).
The coronation night will be on June 11, 6pm at the historical Aguinaldo Shrine in celebration of the country’s independence day with live streaming by Rappler. Delayed telecast on ABS-CBN on June 12, 10:30am (before ASAP) and on The Filipino Channel (TFC).
