Representing the district of Boyacá, Camia Andrea Pinzón was crowned as the new Miss Mundo Colombia in a pageant held at Club Militar de Oficiales del Ejército in the capital city of Bogota. She is 25 years old and stands 5’9″ tall. She spends most of her time in Europe and speaks multiple languages including Spanish, French and English. She also holds two Masters degree in business and marketing.
This year’s Miss Mundo Colombia pageant was participated by 25 contestants representing the various departments in Colombia. Named as virreina is Sofia Donado while the first runner-up is Eleonora Penagos. The second runner-up meanwhile is Miranda Rodríguez. Interestingly, Colombia is yet to win a Miss World crown. The country managed to make four close calls by finishing 1st runner-up in 1981, 1983, 1996 and 2002.
