The 18 year-old student will represent Iceland at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant. She currently studying at Commercial College of Iceland and hopes to become a doctor of medicine someday. A native of capital city of Reykjavik, she listed skating, skiing and traveling as some of her hobbies. She was crowned by Miss Universe Iceland 2021 Elísa Gróa Steinþórsdóttir in a beautiful ceremony held at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavik.

A total of 17 contestants competed for the prestigious title. Adjudged as first runner-up is Isabella Þorvaldsdóttir while Alexandra Andreyeva Tomasdottir is the second runner-up. Completing the Top 5 are Þorbjörg Kristinsdottir (3rd runner-up) and Elva Björk Jónsdóttir (4th runner-up).

Iceland is ranked 38th at the Big5 Ranking. It is yet to win a Miss Universe crown and its highest placement was in 1962 when Anna Geirsdóttir became the first runner-up.
