Miss Mundo Brasil 2015 Ana Luisa Castro could be actually Mrs. Ana Luisa Castro Backer! Just hours after her crowning, it was found out that Ana Luisa is married to Belgian actor Tanguy Backer. Ana Luisa is second black woman to win the crown in the pageant’s long history. Pageant organizer Henrique Fontes has reportedly given Ana Luisa two choices. One is to prove that the marriage is not valid in Brazil and thus she retains the crown and the second option is to give the crown up. If she is dethroned, Catharina Choi, a Korean-Brazilian, beauty will take over.
This is not the first time that a beauty queen was found to be married. All of the Big4 Pageants, namely Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth, requires that all of its contestants have not been married or has given birth to a child.
