Miss Earth Water 2014 Punika “Polly” Kulsoontornrut arrived at the Roland Garros Airport in Reunion last night, April 9 at around 2200 hours. Polly will sit as one of the judges of the Miss Earth Indian Ocean, the pageant that will select Reunion’s candidate at Miss Earth Pageant. Polly was met by Julie Nauche, the head of the organization.
Normally the reigning Miss Earth is invited to the pageant just like last year when Tereza Fajksova created quite a stir in this French overseas department. However, the reigning Miss Earth, Alyz Henrich of Venezuela is busy with other engagements including an international convention on environmental issues held in Egypt. Polly therefore took over some of the duties of the very busy Alyz.
