Thawn Han Thar will represent Myanmar at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant which will be held in Manila in November. She is 26 years of age and she is an actress. She was crowned in a pageant held in the border city of Tachileik where a total of 10 finalists slugged it out to win the coveted title. In the same pageant, Nye Ni Wynn was named Miss Air Myanmar, Kai Phyu Chin as Miss Fire Myanmar, Amelia as Miss Water Myanmar and Kyat The Thin as Miss Land Myanmar.
Myanmar first participated at Miss Earth in 2014. So far only Amara Shune Lei made it to the semis. She was one of the Top 8 during a virtual pageant in 2020.
