Defying the odds and eluding the crystal ball of pageant seers, Miss Brazil Luma Rosso made history as the first ever Miss Charm. The 27-year-old pilot, model and beauty queen reigned supreme in a pageant held at Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Miss Philippines Annabelle Mae McDonnell is the first runner-up while Olivia Tan of Indonesia is the second runner-up.
The other contestants who made it to the Top 20 of the pageant are: Miss Argentina Julieta Garcia, Miss Chile Anahi Hormazabal Garay, Miss China Li Mengli, Miss Colombia Juliana Habib Lorduy, Miss Costa Rica Andrea Montero, Miss Dominican Republic Valentina Campion, Miss Korea Larissa Han, Miss Malaysia Shannen Jade Totten, Miss Mexico Karen Bustos, Miss Venezuela Lady Di Mosquera, Miss Ukraine Anastasiia Panova, Miss Thailand Patitta Suntivijj, Miss South Africa Luyanda Zuma, Miss Russia Anna Baksheeva, Miss Puerto Rico Alejandra Pagan and Miss Poland Sylwia Bober.
Special awards were given to Miss Cambodia Sotheary By (Best in National Costume) and Miss South Aluong Bulkoch (Best in Ao Dai). The panel of judges consists of big names in the world of pageantry such as Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova of Canada, Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna of Spain and Miss International 2012 Ikumi Yoshimatsu of Japan.
