The Miss Austria 2014 pageant will take place on July 3rd at the Casino Baden near Vienna. The winner will represent the country in the Miss World pageant later this year while the first runner-up will be sent to the Miss Universe pageant.
In preparation for the pageant, the 2014 finalists will undergo a boot camp which includes modules in styling, catwalk training, etiquette and culture training among others.
“Our goal is not just to give the candidates an insight into life as Miss Austria, but to provide them with coaching and workshops, the ideal conditions for their future function,” said MAC Executive Director Silvia Schachermayer in a press release.
