Malta’s representative to the next edition of the Miss World pageant has been named.
Michela Galea, 18, bested 27 other candidates for the title of Miss World Malta 2017. She will take part in the 2017 Miss World finals in Sanya, China later this year.
Galea comes from a family that has a number of talented musicians and singers. She has been singing since she was very young and participated in various local festivals.

Amber Debono and Alexia Vella finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
The finals was held on Saturday, June 10 at Piazza Teatru. Prior to the coronation night, the contestants have appeared on the TV show “Gateway To Miss World”, where they had the occasion of featuring in photo shoots, interviews beside other initiatives. Missosology.Org
