May Thadar Ko, representing Mandalay, was crowned Miss Earth Myanmar 2019 during the finals held August 28 at the Diamond Plaza in Mandalay.
She bested 24 other candidates for the title and the right to represent the Golden Land at the 2019 Miss Earth finals in October in the Philippines.
Shwe Chuu Ngone of Innwa was named Miss Earth Teen Myanmar 2019. The elemental court included Miss Air Linn Thadar (Yangon West), Miss Water Aye Myat Noe Aung (Pyin Oo Lwin), and Miss Fire Linn Thadar (Yangon West).
Also crowned in the same event were Miss Global City Myanmar 2019 Sam (Bagan), Miss Eco Tourism Myanmar 2019 Alice Sharr (Yangon East), Miss Glamorous Myanmar 2019 Mv Lay (Sagaing), and first runner-up Shwe Sin Ei Phyu (Magway).
