Martine Rødseth was crowned Miss Universe Norway 2015 during the finals held Sunday, August 30 at Åpen Scene in Oslo.
Compeleting the top 5 were Cecilie Andrea Røising (1st runner up), Sonia Singh (2nd runner up), Christine Berge (3rd runner up) and Dina Lillian Nielsen (4th runner up).
This is not the first time that Martine competed in the pageant. She placed fourth in last year’s edition.
On her Instagram account, Martine wrote: “If you don’t succeed the first time, you can always try again.Thank you for this wonderful Night. Finally I could bring home The crown.”
Norway won the Miss Universe title in 1990 with Mona Grudt. The last time they figured in the Top 15 was the back-to-back placements of Kathrine Sørland and Helene Tråsavik in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
