Miss St Julian’s Martha Fenech was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2016 during the finals held August 26 at Hilton Malta.
The 25-year-old brand PR representative will head on to compete in Miss Universe 2016 to be held in the Philippines. This marks Malta’s return in Miss Universe since they last competed in 2001.
Christine Mifsud (Fgura) and Dajana Laketic (Swatar) finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
Fenech was also awarded Best Personality. The rest of the special awards went to Miss Attard Naomi Dingli (Best Physique), Miss Sliema Martine Vella (Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality), and Miss Gzira Nicola Grixti (Best in Evening Gown). Missosology.Org
