Madeline Cowe, a 23 year old beauty from Queensland won the Miss World Australia 2016 title. She will represent Australia at the Miss World 2016 finals which will be held in Washington D.C. in December 20. This is the fourth straight year that a Queensland beauty has won the Miss World Australia title.
Completing the top five are Asma Voloder (first runner-up), Amy Lee (second runner-up),
Tasha Ross (3rd runner-up) and Anna Mcevoy 4th runner-up). The pageant was held late Friday night in Melbourne.
Madeline Cowe is no stranger in the world of pageantry. She was the first runner-up at last year’s Miss Universe Australia pageant. Madeline will endeavor to bring the third Miss World crown for Australia which was last won by Belinda Green in 1972.
