A Bermudian model was crowned Miss Bermuda 2014 on July 6 during the finale of the event held at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel. Lillian Lightbourn won the title beating seven other candidates for the crown. Lillian, who is presently based in New York as a fashion model said “I plan to use it to create change in any way I can, influencing the youth and everyone around me like I do now, but in a more direct way,” when asked about her plans if given the chance to win the title. Lillian will be representing her country at Miss World 2014 pageant to be held London, UK this December.
