Leonie Hesselink bested 15 other finalists to be crowned Miss World Netherlands on June 10 at the conclusion of the pageant in Amsterdam.
The 25-year-old business administration student and model from Kotten will now represent her country at the 2018 Miss World pageant, which will take place in China in December.

Charlotte Kootte and Shadee Acton finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
Netherlands won the Miss World crown twice: first in 1959 with Corine Rottschäfer, and in 1962 with Catharina Lodders. Missosology.Org
