Laetitia Guarino, a 21 year old medical student, won the Miss Switzerland pageant during an event held in Bern on October 11. It is not yet clear on whether she will participate at the Miss Universe 2014 or 2015 contest. News reports indicate that the new franchise holder Guido Fluri will withdraw from Miss Universe 2014 and thus it is very likely that Laetitia will compete at Miss Universe 2015.
