Singapore. Miss International 2016, Kylie Verzosa, is a rare find!  Not only that she is first reigning Miss International on record to have publicly announced her advocacy on mental health awareness, she is also right on track on correcting the wrong notion that the Miss International queen has nothing else to do after winning the crown.

Proudly wearing her Miss International 2016 sash while in Singapore, Kylie was invited to speak in front of Filipino lawyers who are based in the small Southeast Asian island state.  She humbly shared her thoughts about the relevance of her advocacy and the importance of public awareness.  Not only did she impress the highly intellectual audience, which also included the Philippine Ambassador to Singapore, Hon. Antonio Morales, Kylie looked perfectly ravishing in her light beige one-piece dress and laid down black hair.

Kylie’s busy schedule mainly included trips into the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Institute of Public Policy and the Institute of Mental Health in Singapore.  She wrote on her Instagram account that “the institution was wonderful because they do not only focus on pharmatherapy but holistic treatment as well.”

Kylie also mentioned that aside from therapy, the institute also provides an environment that prepares and helps their patients for future job interviews and job placements.

“It is something that the Philippines could use. A treatment center that would not just provide pharmaceutical care but holistic care treatments for mental health,” she added.
