Krystyna Sokołowska hails from Białystok and emerged as the overall winner in a pageant with 20 contestants from all over Poland. The first runner-up is Karolina Malina while the second runner-up is Julia Baryga. Krystyna is expected to compete in the next edition of Miss World. Multiple sources indicate that the next Miss World pageant will be held in 2023. The current Miss World, Karolina Bielawska, is from Poland and she assumed the title of Miss World 2022.
25-year-old Krystyna Sokołowska is a student of the Academy of Physical Education and the University of Economics. She runs her own a sports club, where she teaches rhythmic gymnastics and gym classes. She is not stranger to the world of international beauty pageants. She was crowned as Miss Earth Poland 2019 and during the Miss Earth 2019 pageant held in Manila, she finished as one of the Top 10 finalists.
Poland has two Miss World titles in its kitty. In 1989, Aneta Kręglicka became the first ever Miss World Poland. This year, Karolina Bielawska became the second and her victory sustained the position of Poland at Big5 Ranking which is currently at 22nd place. Back in 2017, the country was ranked 25th and it is expected that with more beautiful national titleholders, Poland will continue to gain in the ranking.
