Konatsu Yoshida, the delegate from the northern island of Hokkaido, was crowned Miss Earth Japan 2021 during the finals held July 20 in Tokyo.

The 26-year-old professional ballet dancer edged out 26 other candidates for the title and the right to represent the country at the 2021 Miss Earth pageant.

Miss Air went to Aomori’s Haruka Miura, Miss Water is Osaka’s Mari Fujita while Miss Fire is Tokyo’s Rina Takehara. Oita’s Rino Yamada completed the Top 5.
