Irish-American Jessica VanGaalen has been named Miss Supranational Ireland 2019.

The 28-year-old model, photographer, and entrepreneur will now represent Ireland at the 2019 Miss Supranational competition on December in Poland.

“The time has finally arrived for my exciting announcement [that] I am Miss Supranational Ireland 2019 and I will be representing my culture, heritage, family and beautiful country of Ireland on the [Miss Supranational] stage in Poland, ” VanGaalen posted on Instagram. ” I am beyond honored, blessed and excited for this journey. Poland, here I come.”

VanGaalen is no stranger to pageants as she previously represented the USA in Miss United Continents 2018. She also joined Miss Eco International that same year and was awarded Miss Eco America.

“Although Jessica’s last name is Dutch, she’s actually Irish American and her family name is Carr. She plans on relocating to Ireland permanently for work in the near future,” the Miss Supranational pageant wrote in a Facebook post.
