Jeanine Brandt, representing Palmiste, was crowned Miss World Trinidad & Tobago 2021 during the finals held January 31 at South Academy for the Performing Arts in San Fernando.

The 25-year-old professional makeup artist edged out 13 other finalists for the title and the right to represent the dual-island Caribbean nation in the next edition of Miss World.

Manisha Moonilal placed first runner-up, while lisheva Phillip finished second runners-up. Ameika Louis and Jemima Pierre completed the Top 5.

“I accept with pride and humility the great privilege of representing the red, white and black internationally. I will strive in earnest to emulate all the stellar achievements of the beautiful Miss World Trinidad and Tobago precdecessors who paved exemplary,” Brandt wrote on Instagram.

“I pledge to my beautiful Trinidad and Tobago my service and my love. I vow to continue to work diligently to fly our flag high, spreading the Trinbagonian message of love and unity to the world.”
