Imaya Liyanage, a 23-year-old law student from Wennappuwa is Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Earth 2014. She won in a pageant held at Citrus Hotel, Waskaduwa. Shanika Chamini is the first runner-up while Teena Fernando is the second runners up. Miss Earth-Air 2014 Katia Wagner from Austria attended the event. Imaya will now compete at the Miss Earth 2014 contest.
