Gayle Sulvaran, 19 years of age, won the Miss World Curacao 2014 title. The first runner-up is Akisha Albert while Kiobi Emerenciana and Alexandra Krijgen are the second and third runners-up respectively. Gayle hopes to become the first ever beauty from her nation to win the Miss World crown. It will be a tough battle for her though. Ayanette Statia in 2002, is the lone beauty queen from Curacao to have ever made it to the semis of Miss World.
