Gabriela Tafur Nader, representing Valle del Cauca, was crowned Señorita Colombia 2019 in glittering ceremonies held November 12 at the Centro de Convenciones Cartagena de Indias.
The 23-year-old lawyer bested 25 other candidates for the right to represent the country at the 2019 edition of the Miss Universe pageant.
Laura Olascuaga of Bolivar was named Virreina while María Alejandra Vengoechea of Atlantico placed third. Zara Skaugvoll (Bogota) and Yaiselle Tous (Cartagena) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Colombia’s representative to Miss Universe 2018 is Valeria Morales Delgado who was crowned in a separate competition held on September 30. Missosology.Org
