Flora Veloso was crowned Miss Earth Argentina 2021 during the finals held July 30 at the Teatro Empire in Buenos Aires.
The 21-year-old model and ballet dancer from Posadas edged out 13 other candidates for the title and the right to represent the country at the 2021 Miss Earth pageant. She succeeded last year’s titleholder Estrella Danieri.
Her elemental court included Miss Air Estefani Gemmink, Miss Water Michelle Solange Flores, Miss Fire Ileana Larregui Armani, and Miss Eco Tourism Laurita Beccaluva.
“Para mí es un honor y un gran privilegio representarles a todos ustedes durante un año. Les prometo que voy a llevar esta banda, esta medalla y lo que ellas representan con gran orgullo allá donde sea requerida mi presencia. (It is an honor and a great privilege for me to represent all of you for one year. I promise you that I will wear this sash, this medal and what they represent with great pride wherever my presence is required.),” Veloso posted on Instagram.
