Fernanda Rodriguez will represent Costa Rica in the next edition of Miss Earth, marking the country’s return to the Big5 beauty pageant after two years.
Her appointment as Miss Earth Costa Rica 2017 was officially amde during the Reina Costa Rica Intercontinental 2017 finals held last week. RCRI is the new franchise holder of Miss Earth in Costa Rica.
Prior to being named Miss Earth Costa Rica, Rodriguez joined Teen Mesoamericana 2013 and was a finalist of Miss Teen Universe 2015.
Costa Rica is yet to win the Miss Earth crown. The country’s most recent placement in Miss Earth was Fabiana Granados’ Top 16 finish in 2012. Missooslogy.Org
