Miss International Ethiopia 2017 is Bamlak Dereje

After an eight-year hiatus, the beautiful country of Ethiopia in the Horn of Africa will be represented once again at the Miss International 2017 competition.  20-year-old Bamlak Dereje, who is reported to be a third year marketing student and a model, will be flying to Tokyo next week for the three-week long pageant activities.
After the announcement that Dereje would be competing at Miss International, pageant fans immediately looked into her photos and had nothing but praises to this stunning young lady.  A Philippine-based graphic designer for Missosology, who does not wish to be named for private reasons, was stunned with the gorgeous face of this Ethiopian lass. “She is gorgeous,” said our resident graphic artist who also happens to be the person in charge of doing our hot picks banners.
The final gala of Miss International 2017 will be held on November 14th at the Tokyo Dome City Hall.  Ethiopia last competed in 2009 and is still yet to produce a placement in the annual pageant.  Ethiopia is best known in Japan for their long distance runners, along with Kenya which incidentally holds the best placement by Sub-Saharan Africa in Miss International.  /Stephen I.
