Emma Lauret was crowned Miss Earth Réunion 2017, outclassing nine other candidates for the right to represent the island in Miss Earth.
Her elemental court included Aurelie Robert (Miss Air), Manycia Bertchie (Miss Water) and Julie Marguerite (Miss Fire).
Miss Earth 2016 Katherine Espin and Miss Earth Air 2016 Michelle Gomes were special guests at the event. Prior to the finals, the two queens went on a school tour to promote environmental awareness among the youth of Réunion.
