Iradukunda Elsa won the Miss Rwanda 2017 title, during the finals held at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village.
The a senior-six graduate from King David High School, who represented the Northern Province in the preliminaries, bested 15 other contestants for the crown and the right to represent Rwanda in Miss World 2017.
Guelda Shimwa placed first runner up, followed by Linda Umutoniwase. Queen Kalimpinya and Fanique Umuhoza Isimbi were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Nadia Umutesi won Miss Photogenic while Elsa Iradukunda was Miss Congeniality. Guelda Shimwa was awarded Miss Heritage, and Honorine Hirwa Uwase took home Miss Popularity. Missosology.Org
