As correctly predicted by Missosology, Ecuador’s Angela Bonilla was crowned Miss Global 2016 at a glittering finale held Saturday, September 24 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
The 24-year-old former Miss Earth Ecuador titleholder competed alongside 30 other candidates from all over the world.
Host delegate Miss Philippines Camille Hirro finished first runner-up while Miss Australia Caitlyn Henry placed second runner-up. Missosology also correctly predicted the placements of these two ladies.
Czech Republic’s Nikola Bechynova and Norway’s Britt Roselyn Rekkedal were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
The representatives of India, China, Netherlands, Canada and Kenya completed the Top 10. The rest of the 20 semifinalists were the delegates of Ukraine, Russia, Trinidad & Tobago, Cambodia, Chile, Iran, Nigeria, Bulgaria, Botswana and Sweden.
As an ambassador of goodwill, Bonilla will held promote Philippine tourism as well as promote Senhoa Foundation’s advocacy of supporting vulnerable people ad survivors of human trafficking.
