Dhenia Covens, who was second runner-up in Miss Belgium 2018, has been designated to represent Belgium in the next edition of the Miss Universe competition, the organization announced in a statement on February 1.
The 27-year-old model and make-up artist from Antwerp previously represented Belgium in Miss Supranational 2018 in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland.
“The word is out! I will proudly represent Belgium at the Miss Universe competition. Thank you all for the lovely support,” Covens posted on Instagram.
No stranger to pageants, Covens previously competed in Miss Tourism International in 2014 and in Miss United Continents in 2015.
