Dayana Davtyan was crowned Miss Universe Armenia 2019 during the finals held July 8 at the Sev Berd (Black Fortress) in Gyumri.
The 20-year-old graphic designer will represent the country at the 2019 Miss Universe competition. She bested 14 other candidates for the crown.
“I did not expect to win. I was very excited. It was a very unexpected moment. I was so happy, I cannot describe my feelings,” Davtyan was quoted by News.am.
The rest of the Top 5 were Naira Vardanyan, Marina Danielyan, Aneta Gabrielyan and Liana Voskerchyan.
