Daniela Pajaziti, 18 years of age from Durres, was crowned as Miss World Albania 2015 during the Miss Universe Albania pageant held earlier at the Palace of Congress in the capital city of Tirana. Daniela will represent Albania at the Miss World pageant in Sanya, China this December.
Since the country first participated at Miss World in 2002, no Albanian woman has ever placed at the semis. This is a big contrast to the country’s fortunes at Miss Universe. It is of little wonder that the focus of the pageant was on Miss Universe Albania rather than on Miss World Albania.
