Christine Telfer was crowned Miss Earth Nigeria during the finals held August 28 at the Dome, Calabar Municipal Gardens in Calabar.
The 23-year-old psychologist, TV show host and fashion designer will represent the African nation at the 2021 Miss Earth pageant. She succeeded 2020 winner Gwenivere Ifeayieze.
Miss Earth Nigeria Air Mercy Enenimiete Suoyo, Miss Earth Nigeria Water Mbanusi Chidiogo, Miss Earth Nigeria Fire Akugbo Amaka Precious, and Miss Eco Tourism Nigeria 2021 Zino Precious.
“I am extremely honored to be crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2021 Winning this award would not have been possible without the inspiration I have received from my my fellow contestants, for whom I have the deepest respect, and from whom I have derived the strength to challenge myself and perform better at each stage,” Telfer posted on Instagram.
