Christie Van Schalkwyk was crowned Miss Earth Northern Ireland 2018 during the finals held July 28 at the Waterside Theatre in Derry.
This 24-year-old student, who is proud of her South African and Northern Irish roots, will represent her country at the 2018 Miss Earth finals to be held in the Philippines in November. She also bagged the Best Hair award.
Zara Campbell finished as Miss Air Northern Ireland and also bagged the Online Public Vote award. Sarah Carr was named Miss Water Northern Ireland. She was also awarded Miss Congeniality and Beauties For A Cause Eco Ambassador.
The Miss Fire Northern Ireland title (and Face of the World Northern Ireland special title) went to Kerry Kane. Completing the Top 6 were Jessica Brolly and Jessica Doherty (who also won Best Evening Gown).
