Cassandra Chéry, a 21-year-old model from Port-au-Prince, was crowned Miss Haiti 2017 on Saturday, September 2.
She now tasked to represent her country in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant. She has big shoes to fill following Raquel Pélissier’s first runner-up finish at the 65th Miss Universe held last January in the Philippines.
Caroline Begein placed first runner-up, while Marie Gerline Moreau finished second runner-up. Alexandra Eloisier, Chrystel Dufour, and Weendy Legerme completed the rest of the Top 6. Missosology.Org
