As correctly predicted by Missosology, Bunga Jelitha Ibrani of DKI Jakarta 5 was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2017 on Friday, March 31 at the Jakarta Convention Center.
But it wasn’t a usual crowning for Bunga. She was initially announced as 2nd runner-up before host corrected the mistake.

Bunga, 25, will now represent Indonesia in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant. Prior to joining Puteri, she competed an won Supermodel International 2011.
Kevin Liliana of Jawa Barat was named Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan (1st runner-up). She will compete in Miss International.

Karina Nadila of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) won Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata (2nd runner-up) and will represent the country in Miss Supranational.
Putri Mentari Sitanggang (Sumatera Utara), Syella Afsari (Jambi) and Dea Goesti Rizkita Koswara (Jawa Tengah) made it to the Top 6.
The rest of the Top 11 were Puji Chegana (Sumatera Barat), Nur Harisyah Pertiwi (Sumatera Selatan), Dita Fakhrana Utami (DKI Jakarta 2), Gituen Miracline Samantha (Kalimantan Timur) and Fredrika Mitra Munua (Papua).
