Bobo Leong was crowned Miss Macau 2019 during the finals held August 13 at the Venetian Macau’s Cotai Arena.
The 26-year-old model and make-up artist bested 11 other candidates for the right to represent the autonomous region at the 2019 Miss International beauty pageant in November in Japan.
Emily Yau and Wong Iong placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
The 2019 edition marked the pageant’s return after a decade of hiatus. Organizer SunCity Group said the pageant aimed to promote Macau as a world-class tourism city.
